The desert fox is designed to be used as an "off road" trailer. It has heavy duty axles and suspension with shocks and the leafs over axles for additional ground clearance. Evidence of the axle capacity is the impressive 5,490lbs cargo carrying capacity. This trailer tows very well and is very stable. It handles a full load of toys with ease. This is not a cheap lightweight trailer.
